Honk!, a contemporary award-winning musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairy tale The Ugly Duckling, is funny, fast, and feathery. Soon after Ugly, an odd looking baby duck, is born he is lured away by a wily Cat who is looking for dinner. Eventually, Ugly manages to escape but has no idea how to return home. In his quest to reunite with his mother, Ugly encounters all manner of domesticated and wild critters who help him to learn valuable lessons about fitting in, being proud of who he is, and the importance of love and family.
